The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute (DEDI) in partnership with the Women’s Museum in Denmark and the research program FACE (Fund for Academic Corporation and Exchange) would like to invite you to participate in this year’s Dialogue Forum/Summer School.

This year’s Forum will be focusing on heritage, museums, and museology, and will include museum trips, presentations by experts in the field of heritage and museums – and dialogue exercises. The Forum aims at bringing together young Egyptians, Lebanese, Jordanians and Danes to develop a practical understanding of how to disseminate knowledge through museums in order to understand others and ourselves – be it times, individuals, cultures or societies.

The forum will take place at the Women’s Museum in Aarhus, Denmark, where 24 participants together with trainers, presenters, and organizers will take part in an engaging experience to explore new approaches to museums and heritage using practical, creative, and interactive tools.

This year’s Dialogue Forum will be held from 21st to 28th of August 2016. All expenses of successful candidates will be covered by the host organizations.

Who is eligible to Apply?
• The eligible applicant is 20 – 30 years old Egyptian, Lebanese, Jordanian or Danish.
• Applicants should be willing to – and enthusiastic about – working within a large group consisting of diverse people.
• Applicants should have an interest in working with disseminating knowledge about history and heritage.
• Applicants should be fully committed to the Forum and be present during the whole week.
• Priority will go to students of the humanities, especially history, anthropology, museology, and art in its different forms.

Eligible applicants should send a motivation letter of approximately 500 words and their CV to the email: df2016@dedi.org.eg, no later than July 6, 2016.
Successful applicants will be informed by mid-July.
